The 2025 lineup reflects current concerns facing community organizations—compliance, audit readiness, funding, and legal risk. Here’s who’s speaking:

  1. Sharmila Khare returns to Toronto to share “Perspectives from the CRA”, offering up-to-date insights on compliance and regulatory expectations from the Canada Revenue Agency.
  2. Kateryna Kozachuk (BDO Law) will present “Preparing for CRA Audits”, with a focus on practical strategies to help organizations prepare for and respond to audits.
  3. Valeriy Kostyuk, Executive Director of the Canada-Ukraine Foundation, will speak on “Securing Funds – Tips on Writing Grants”, with hands-on advice drawn from real-world grant-writing experience.
  4. Taras Kulish, President of the Ukrainian Canadian Bar Association, will present “Protecting Organizations from Litigation Risk”, discussing key legal safeguards for boards and leadership teams.

Event Details
The registration fee is $15 to $30, which includes refreshments (sandwiches, coffee, and tea). Both in-person and virtual registration options are available.
