The Ukrainian Canadian Bar Association stands with the people of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Canadian legal community in condemning the Russian invasion of Ukraine that will lead to an unimaginable humanitarian crisis. Russia’s aggression threatens the stability and freedom of not only Ukraine but the entire region and indeed the world. The UCBA is speaking out against these acts of hostility which may be tantamount to war crimes and that are in direct opposition to the fundamental values of our community. Our thoughts and prayers are with our colleagues, clients, family, and friends who are directly impacted by this crisis, and for a peaceful resolution that protects the freedom and democracy of Ukraine.
